    Nursing Profession plays a most important role in health sector. There is an major demand for them in hospital and health centers right from general ward to operation theatre. Therefore, with the growth of the health industry, the demand for nurses is also increasing making a career in Nursing very attractive.

    Basically nurses take general care of patients. At higher levels, specialization and skills are required for managing medical-surgical emergencies and intensive care patients. Nursing profession handles medication, setting up and operating medical equipments, keeping records of patients progress and administration.

    With increasing health consciousness, the quality of health services has improved. Skilled nurses are in high demand by the health organizations. Many of the nurses get placements abroad. Most of the nurses working throughout the world are from India. The skilled nurses can get the employment in specialized fields like Surgical, Medical, ICU, Telemetry and ER.

    Shreeya college of Nursing offers a friendly and supprotive environment its a dynamic college, where our pupils are given the best opportunity to fulfill their potiential in a happy and caring atmosphere which includes pupils from all races and religious denominations.

  • Eligibility
    Eligibility

    a) Passed the two year pre-university examination or equivalent as recognised by Rajiv Gandhi University of health science, with science subjects, Viz, Physics, Chemistry and Biology(aggregate)

    b) Students of Vocational Courses: 10+2 vocational Course of state Government of Karnataka with cognate subject namely PHYSICS CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY AS OPTIONAL SUBJECTS, VIDE Notification no ua/ely-1/1999-2000 dated 11-08-2004

    c) Obtained atleast forty-five percent of the total marks in science subjects of qualifying examination if belonging to a scheduled or a scheduled tribe should have obtained not less than forty percent of total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.

    d) Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

    DURATION OF THE COURSE
    The duration of the course is 4 years.
